Unapologetically Me

I will not say that I am sorry anymore.

I will not hate my brain or my body or my being any longer.

I was made to live this life because I am strong enough to live it.

I will no longer pull at the skin that protects me. I will not stare at the face that allows me to express myself in hatred anymore. I will not spend any more hours searching the degrading internet for how to fix myself.

I will not plant the idea in my brain that my body

my mind

my soul

that I

am anything less than beautiful.

I will no longer apologize for simply being.

I am unapologetically me.
